Today is all about the links:
<a href=” http://browseinside.harpercollins.com/index.aspx?isbn13=9780061128899″>One</a>
<a href=” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncyOpp9UDQs”>Two</a>
<a href=”http://www.gazette.net/stories/03052009/entefre155239_32470.shtml”>Three</a> (Hat tip to my agent.)
And my own <a href=”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7H0_mqCfkg”>addition</a>, which is NSFW, but: “If I write for anyone, Vinnie, I write for me!!”
What then of SHAVED MEATS, PILED HIGH?
SM,PH will go down in history as one of those great, elusive never-was books. Sort of like the book in GONE TOMORROW. (Did I get the title of the Kluge novel right?)
When they make the Laura Lippman story- stay away from Pia Zadora.
I wish I could find John Waters’s interview with Zadora online. It’s a very sympathetic piece, in which she has no problem laughing about her performance in The Lovely Lady.
However, I did find <a href=”http://www.stomptokyo.com/pia/articles/ramone.html “>this</a>
http://books.google.com/books?id=jByxF64fNF0C&pg=PA36&lpg=PA35&ots=XF03QNEKNv&dq=%22john+waters%22+%22pia+zadora%22+interview&ie=ISO-8859-1&output=html
Could this be what you seek? (Cut and paste!)
Thanks, Marjorie.
Also, for the MST3K fans here, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (Pia’s first movie role) is one of my favorites. “Old man, take a look at your elf, he’s a lot like you!”
Also: “Head butt.”
I liked the youtube ‘LL’s mysterious Baltimore’ – especially Tess’s hard-to-find house, that gets her free pizza.
Actually, I think that’s an important part of the draw in LL books – the food.
Loved the U-tube interview. Thanks!
